"Within the great city of Arcadia, behind the thick walls of granite and stone, many events of great transpire. The Darkness is coming, we must be ready...

"Ever since I was little, I was always fascinated by Arcane Magic. Amazed at the great potentials it held; however, fearful of how easily it was for one to lose sight of things, and to fall from grace.

I chose to follow the ways of the Paladin so that I could protect the ones close to me directly, the passive ways of a Priest didn't really appeal to me. Apart from training and worship, I began to study magic. I went through numerous tutors, each being a little more helpful than the last, but it wasn't what I was looking for.

In my dedication, I began to study on my own. Arcane Magic is quite confusing, and doesn't work the same way that Holy Magic does, but I kept with it because I knew I was onto something great. Soon, I developed Arcane Magic in a similar way I had for Holy Magic. If Holy Magic could be used to protect, why couldn't Arcane?

In the secluded basement of an unnamed warehouse, I held my sword out in front of me, unwavering. Fire spew from my hand and spread across my sword, engulfing it in the twisting spiral pattern that fire moves in. I raised the sword high above my head, and brought it crashing down onto the ground. Flames churned and fire twisted as a great blast wave exploded outwards. It had worked, my mouth curled into a victorious grin.

I am Oryian Silverwind, developer of the Holy Arcanum, now the head of the Magesterium of Arcadia, and I welcome you to the Templar-Magi."

A Templar-Magus is a hybrid class of three aspects: Holy, Magic, and Melee. As Arcane Magic is the most difficult to understand it's usually the last field that is learned. By description, they are soldiers who are devout believers in The Light, and diligently study the Arcane Arts; wielding both as means of righteousness and retribution. They are the Magesterium of Arcadian protectors.
