The story: Elrodan had forced Shorun into the Realm of Aerius, Shorun saves Aerius, woohoo.

Meanwhile, back on Azeroth:

Retoran: "You will not end the master's bidding...Bolvar's wrath will ensue, and destroy the living in Azeroth!"

Shorun then descends to release the prisoners. One of them being Everianne. Shorun releases Everianne, with Scourge footsoldiers on pursuit. Shorun makes a delicious save of Everianne, only to become short of mortally wounded, himself. After much romance on Azeroth, Shorun (lucky little dog) beweds Eve, and returns to Aerius, assuming his place amongst the Silvershade, with his beautiful wife.
